img_2515Duane Carlson started singing at the age of 4 when his parents learned of his vocal ability, from hearing him sing along to the radio. They started helping him pursue his amazing talents. They started Duane off with little solos in his hometown church. Then later on in his school years his music teachers also noticed his amazing gift and used him for music specials. In High School Duane as a sophomore received two first Place Trophies for his solos at the Illinois statewide music competition. The songs he performed in the tenor class and won with were “On the street where you live” from My Fair Lady and “Maria” from a West Side Story.

Originally from Illinois Duane now calls Massachusetts home. In the 70’s Duane was the lead singer of a band that performed all around the Midwest, later he traveled to California where he continued his musical art performing in Supper clubs,hotels, and upscale lounges. After moving to Mass in 1995 he was employed at Mercy Medical Center in which he retired in 2016. Now with more time to concentrate on his passion of singing Duane has now taken center stage yet again. A truly talented and versatile vocalist his performance will take you back in time when music was at its best! Singing tunes that range from the 40s,50s,60s, and 70s that include pop, mellow rock, country, and the standards. Duane sings these songs with wonderful smooth vocal ability and clarity. When people hear his performance for the first time they invite him back again and again and again.
